WHO WE ARE
DM Consulting LLC was established in 2016. Mari Cofield President and CEO of DM Consulting LLC is a former Senior Contract Specialist (Government Contractor) who has over 12 years of experience in the Federal Government Contracting and Procurement arena. Over the course of her career, she has worked on procurements/contracts from cradle to grave exceeding 500 million dollars in value. Mari started DM Consulting LLC due to the fact that small businesses typically have a challenging time with the Government Contracting process and need assistance. She noticed this during her years of working within the Federal Government arena. She knew that with her vast experience, starting a Consulting firm to help businesses with a service needed in the marketplace was a great idea. Soon after the formation of the business, DM Consulting entered into a teaming agreement with a Prime Federal Contracting Consulting firm to work on various strategies to increase the firms portfolio of awarded contracts in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.
Mari assisted heavily with developing proposal and pricing criteria, completing market research, and responding to invitations for bids and requests for proposals for contracts that were eventually awarded to the Prime contractor she partnered with. Her efforts greatly assisted in the contracts being awarded. Mari became the Project Manager for the awarded contracts and oversaw all Project Management contractual functions and obligations to Government clients.
With Mari's vast experience in Government Contracting, DM Consulting LLC soon began Subcontracting with other Federal Prime Consulting companies and started working on expanding DM Consulting's portfolio of various types of contracts and a growing number of Small Businesses clients. Mari and the DM Consulting team actively respond to Government requests for proposals, invitations for bids, and request for quotes.
